The dining set arrived sooner than anticipated and assembly was pretty simple. Took about an hour for any five pieces. The tabletop is not so large but we put it to use as a breakfast nook table so it works perfectly.

Great value, beautiful workmanship, ideal for my room. Ordered as a combo storage piece, filler for a big room and use by the end of my sofa. Color is as shown online - not distressed or "Shabby Elegance" but instead a rich deep black finish which is even and glossy. Glas shelves are thick and smooth on the edges and match backets that hold them securely. All of the hardware lines up and is a superb blend of modern and classic. Arrived in two large flat boxes, with plenty of padding and protection for the painted surfaces. Arrived on time with tracking available anytime I wanted to be sure of it. Easy to assemble with the included instructions - all the fasteners were bagged and marked and each piece was labeled. Instructions included pictures and words that were easy to comprehend. I would recommend this piece to anyone.

This is our first wayfair purchase and we are extremely happy with it. The assembly instructions were mostly useless but we just used the picture online here as reference and had it together in about 30 minutes. Wipes clean very easily and no stains or scratches up to now, despite having a 5 and 4 year old eating 3 meals a day at it.

Just a little difficult to construct if you don't have a power tool. Honestly the energy tool made all the difference. We also used wood glue to hold it together even more that i highly recommend. There was no harm to it while i received it however I believe the table is a soft wood and I don't recommend writing together with it without something underneath, otherwise you could have indents in your table. It's beautiful though and I've received lots of compliments. It's way nicer to have the ability to face your guests and socialize this way than having half a table against a wall and also you wrap up eating and face a wall than face your guests. :)
