I read a ton of the reviews before ordering and was skeptical about ordering simply because of the negative feedback on the condition of the item due to shipping. We ordered four. They came in two boxes. All the metal was wrapped, so there is no chance of anything getting scratched. The seats were in a separate box inside the box. The hardware was attached to the items. I got happy with the health of the merchandise when it arrived. The one drawback is there are no assembly instructions. But only a little common sense tells you where you can position the 8 screws. Easy assembly. I got afraid the seat upholstery might look cheap, but I like it. The chairs are comfortable and look great. This is a GREAT purchase for the price! Pros: The purchase price is great. Easy to construct, great quality, fast shipping! Searched forever for the right bar stools, and I finally found them! The purchase price was a definite plus while searching for 4 of them. I love that these are tall enough for our counter, and they are solid and sturdy.

I must say I’m very impressed with the quality of this table. I wanted something such as our large dining table for our kitchen nook which table was perfect. Not sure how it'll hold up with my teen boys but I think it will. I didn’t expect all parts to be so sturdy. Can’t wait to view it in the daytime!

For the purchase price you can't go wrong. It is advisable to keep that in mind as well, as there are some qwerks. It is rather solid and I'm very happy with it so far. My first issue so far is that the chairs aren't completely level, so I'll need to experiment with the legs to have them leveled more and hopefully that helps. The second issue is that the cushions aren't the most comfortable in the world. I've sat in chairs with slip-on padding that are convenient. But other than that, it's ideal for small space. I definitely recommend this.
